I just would like to thank you both for such an incredible year. Watching the webinar today was not only so moving in so many ways, but also inspirational. It gave me chills multiple times, and it was amazing to see everything come together. I loved [your] reflection at the end about systematic racism vs pushing the boundaries with storytelling and about pity vs. empathy. I know we have work to do and our work may never be finished, but I still feel like our class this year allowed me to participate in (or at least further recognize) the social change regarding race that we must address. I thoroughly enjoyed everything we accomplished as a class and loved watching the webinar today. Thank you again for such an incredible experience.
